DuhnenHintergrund: Duhnen ist in dem kleinen gleichnamigen Örtchen an der Nordsee in den Dühnen entstanden. Die Weite an diesem Ort, welche durch die starke Ebbe und Flut entsteht, kommt triggert menschliche Themen: Die Entscheidung los zulassen, sich bewegen zu lassen ist anziehend und zugleich gefährlich, da man sich darin verlieren kann. Wenn man die Angst zulässt und das Wissen über die Zukunft abgibt, kann man die Grenze finden und in dieser Unbestimmtheit bleiben ohne sich aufzulösen. Es entsteht Platz, Zeit, Ruhe. Die Grenzen und Zugangsformen sind einerseits individuell sehr unterschiedlich andererseits universell und unpersönlich. Sie sind schemenhaft und unscharf, haben dahinter aber ein eigenes Gesicht. Duhnen ist Teil des Landart-Projektes.

DuhnenBackground: The starting point of the work was a small village called Duhnen at the Northern Sea in Germany. The width at this place is incredible because of the strong tides that leave a desert at its strongest point. This phenomenon reflects internal psychological processes: Letting go is a decision that is attractive but also can be dangerous as one can get lost in it. If one faces the fear that can arise at this point and stops trying to control the future, it is possible to find this small line to stay in the moment of not knowing without getting lost. Space, time and silence arises. There is an individual variety of the line and story but there is an unpersonal universal underline. Figurelike and unclear, behind this they have their own face. Duhnen is one part of the Landart-project.
